My Footprint Introduction
For our first project we created a footprint that we used to introduce ourselves. We traced our own feet and used three different media to describe ourselves to our future class. The symbols that I used on my footprint was a beach at the bottom with an umbrella because I love to travel to warm places and to be at the beach, I have a piano because I played piano for 10 years in Elementary and High School, the music notes because I love to listen to music and to sing, and the book because I love to read. As an extension project for this I would also use this as an introduction lesson. I would use this at the beginning of the year and have the kids draw something that they did over summer break. We would hang these on the wall and add to them throughout the year to show that we are growing.
